About the designer & goldsmith

As a third-generation artist in a family rooted in craftsmanship, Anneleen De Vree was immersed in creativity from an early age. She spent much of her childhood in workshops, where she learned various techniques, from drawing and etching to soldering and stone cutting.

In 2016, she graduated with honors in Jewellery Design & Goldsmithing from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. She then earned a second degree in Graphic & Digital Design in 2020.

Over the years, Anneleen has developed a strong passion for sustainable design, working with ethical materials and techniques. She believes designers play a crucial role in promoting sustainability, which inspired her to create her eponymous label, “De Vree.”

De Vree is the perfect blend of all her passions: contemporary design, authentic craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Our Vision

We believe in the power of slow design, authentic craftsmanship, and sustainable materials to create responsible jewellery with deep personal meaning.

We embrace the art of slowing down, taking the time to create each piece in our own studio and deliberately producing only a limited number of jewellery items each month.

We use sustainable materials, ranging from recycled silver and gold to locally sourced gemstones and lab-grown diamonds. We apply this same conscious approach throughout our entire studio practice, from production to packaging, with respect for both people and materials.

To us, jewelleryis more than just an accessory; it’s a personal symbol that brings memories, values, and connections to life and stays with you throughout your life.
